We are currently recruiting for a Mobile General Operative to join our client site in Dublin City Centre.
The main purpose of the role is to provide General Operative/ Facilities services duties to OCS Management Services & to maintain the building facilities in consistent ready-to-serve conditions by rigid adherence to work generated from Client requirements & requests, and by vigilance of your core and non-core responsibilities. To react & generate work orders etc. within stipulated timeframes to ensure maximum Customer Service is achieved for our operations in our Clients Facilities.
Place of work is Dublin City Centre and hours of work is 08.00-16.30.
List of Duties:
- Respond to calls logged with the facilities help desk. Investigate the nature of the problems and seek a speedy resolution.
- Assist with general maintenance throughout client offices such as fix/hang pictures, notice boards, replace damaged ceiling tiles, replace light bulbs etc.
- Assist with the organisation of equipment & furniture for meetings/training/board rooms prior to & after meetings
- Check all visitors & any contractor staff, ensuring they have permission to be present in the building
- Act as Hot Desk point of contact & coordinate booking & managing of hot desks on site
- Act as Sub-Contractor service point of contact & Coordinate Sub-Contractor access & work permit issue
- Report to and take direction from the contract facilities team
- Ensure effective security of staff and the building at all times
- Assist with keeping the CMMS system up to date on an on-going basis to include logging/entering calls on the CMMS database.
- Deal with emergencies such as leaks, spills etc.
- Responding to safety and security issues & have responsibility for lost & found
- Set up & Maintain Site Contractor Folders
- Responsibility for all deliveries/parcels received to the IFSC office
- Assist with internal office moves
- Responsible for all keys (pedestals, cabinets, doors)
- Provide lunchtime cover for Reception as part of a scheduled rota
- Perform other general administration duties for the team as may be required of you given the broad nature of the role & the time available
PM Checks:
- Carry out various in-house PM tasks on site (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual) including monthly visits to regional sites.
- Walk the building on a daily basis (min twice daily) & ensure all fire exits are clear, Extinguishers in place & fire register completed
- Carryout a regular building walks throughout the day to check for lights not working, broken furniture, that all aisles/walkways are clear, carpet tiles ok & not lifting & doors all open/close properly. If any issues found attend to them. Ensure all meeting rooms are clean & Tidy
- Check water coolers & ensure they are working, empty drip tray
- General office repairs
Light Janitorial Responsibilities:
- General janitorial duties including catering set ups for meetings etc.
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves and refrigerators & fill, run & empty the dishwashers in the breakout room
- Empty bins & replace liners
- Restock supplies in breakrooms & common areas
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe & operable condition at all times
- Keep under review tenant shared facilities such as toilets & arrange cleaning attendance as necessary
Hot desk Gatekeeper Responsibilities
- Locker Assignment & Management.
- Ensure desks are occupied within 1 hour of booking, otherwise bookings will be cancelled. This will avoid no shows.
- Highlight and reinforce clean desk & locker rules by completing daily/weekly checks. The Gatekeeper will look ahead each day to the next day and report to Management if it is near capacity so they are forearmed to try and assist.
Work with systems team to resolve issues with ELO screens etc should they arise
General Administration:
- Meeting support: assist in room bookings, lunches, equipment
Work Permits
- Ensure that all contractors entering site to carry out works have completed the appropriate work permit forms
- Depending upon type of works sign off may be required by onsite technician
Helpdesk
- Log Helpdesk calls where required
- Close out helpdesk calls for the site
